Mission Statement
To operate and maintain an informative, entertaining, socially connected community radio station that offers the community the opportunity to access programs not available through other sources. Hot FM is committed to providing training and access opportunities for members of the public to be trained in all aspects of the radio industry.

History
Community Radio in Mildura was established by Max Thorburn through his desire to establish a Country Music radio station in Regional Australia. Sunraysia Community Radio Association was formed in 1983 with the purpose of establishing and operating a community radio station in the Sunraysia area, developing Max’s ideas and plans. With humble beginnings in a flat in Ontario Avenue Mildura, then a stint in a balcony enclosure on the second floor of the former Wintersun Hotel, studios were constructed at 6 Byrne Court and have remained there since.
